Supports Campbell High Schools and Mobile Crisis Program in Santa Clara County
EMQ FamiliesFirst is honored to be a recipient of a $150,000 grant from El Camino Hospital to provide Addiction Prevention Services (APS) and our Child and Adolescent Mobile Crisis Program at the Campbell Union High School District. The goal of the grant is to improve health outcomes for at-risk teens by keeping them safe and in school.

This is the third consecutive year that El Camino Hospital has granted the award to EMQ FamiliesFirst and represents a $40,000 increase from last year’s award. It will provide an extra day of prevention, intervention and treatment services at the five high schools in the district for identified teens who face such pressing issues as bullying, substance abuse, depression and suicide. The grant also supports the agency’s Child and Adolescent Mobile Crisis Program, the only 24/7 mobile crisis intervention service for kids in Santa Clara County.
“El Camino Hospital is committed to enhancing youth health in our community. The partnership with the Campbell Union High School District and EMQ FamiliesFirst serves to move this goal forward by making needed counseling services available to students at all schools in the district.” said Barbara Avery, director community benefit, El Camino Hospital.
Thank you, El Camino Hospital, for helping to build brighter futures for at-risk teens in our community.
