    Provides intensive mental health services to youth 10-18 years of age with severe mental health/substance abuse issues. These youth are at risk for greater hospitalization or homelessness and may be experiencing their first onset of a serious mental health condition. Others may have been in traditional mental health treatment services but now require a more extensive program. ACT offers comprehensive community-based treatment through a multidimensional team of professionals.

    Helps reconnect foster children with safe, healthy family members and speed their recovery from emotional trauma. Using internet search technology, we are able to find biological family members for children in the system. Once we have identified family members, we work to reestablish relationships and explore ways to find a permanent family placement for the child.

Our staff works directly with immediate and extended biological family to facilitate reunification and permanency. For the child whose permanent plan is adoption, we are a custodial adoption agency licensed by the State of California to provide a full range of adoption services.

    Multi-Dimensional Treatment Foster Care (MTFC) offers specialized training and support for foster caregivers to become part of a team of therapeutic services helping a child to thrive in a family setting and to achieve permanency. Linkage and support to permanent family is the hallmark of these services, with family therapy and other services provided to meet the unique needs of children and families. Services are highly individualized for children and adolescents with substantial behavioral and therapeutic needs. Mental health services are supported with contracts from the local county Mental Health Department.
